Exchange to AHO

To be eligible for admission as an exchange student you must be enrolled in one of AHOs partner institutions. It is an absolute prerequisite that you have completed a minimum of three years of study prior to the exchange.

The application routine is dependent on whether you apply as a European Erasmus/Nordplus student, or as a non-European bilateral agreement student. Please see the blue boxes to the right for details.

Application deadlines Erasmus / Nordplus:

• 1 May for the autumn semester / whole academic year and 
• 1 November for the spring semester.

Application deadlines bilateral agreements:

• 1 April for the autumn semester / whole academic year and 
• 1 October for the spring semester

Applicants from outside the Nordic countries must document satisfactory English skills. Read about the requirements here.

All applicants must be nominated by their home institutions. Please contact the international coordinator at your school for information on how to procede.

Please note that the form must be signed by the international coordinator at your school.

If your school does not have a partnership with AHO, you must apply as a visiting student.
