Guest lecture: Fiona Romeo - Experts, algorithms, and the curious public

Fiona Romeo visits AHO to talk about working with teams of experts, algorithms, and curious members of the public to create engaging interactions with art and science. Her projects include a citizen science initiative to identify and predict solar storms and a history of modern art exhibitions.
Fiona leads large interdisciplinary teams to produce content and experiences for institutions like MoMA, the Science Museum, Disney, and the BBC. She frequently works at the intersection of physical spaces and digital platforms, most recently at Wellcome Collection in London, where she is redeveloping Medicine Now, a permanent gallery that explores the latest developments in medical science, by connecting science, art, and lived experience.
