Master’s level

The master’s students have to prioritize courses from one to three. This goes for the registration for studio courses (24 credits) and for the elective courses (6 credits).

Remember to make sure you save your choices before logging out.  It is your responsibility to make sure that that your prioritized list of courses is saved when the deadline has passed.

Master in Landscape Architecture

Students in the Master program in Landscape Architecture in Oslo must sign up for the courses according to the study plan.
Students in Tromsø must sign up for the courses according to the study plan.

Course information

Pre-Diploma / Diploma

The Pre-Diploma course (6 credits) is a mandatory specialized course running in the semester prior to the diploma/master thesis semester.
If you are planning diploma in the spring semester you must sign up for this in studentweb.

Allocation of study place

Distribution of study place goes according to seniority (ECTS) and approved study plan. For certain purposes AHO may allocate study place outside the two above mentioned reasons. When scarcity of places in a master’s course the students enlisted directly from the foundation level (bachelor level) will be prioritized according to their grades.
Important information:
Admission to courses is given according to ECTS completed. Therefore it is important that all students check their studentweb to see that every result is registered. If there are results that are not registered (e.g. exchange) please apply to academic service to get your courses recognized before 23 November 2017. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure your education plan with external result is correct.
The courses you are admitted to will be visible in Studentweb. Hopefully the admission process is finalized by 1 December. An email will also be forwarded to your AHO-email address when the results are ready.  If not registered within the deadline 23 November, you will be placed in courses according to availability.
Semester registration will open after the admission to courses are finalized and made public.
