Welcome back to an open AHO!

Welcome back to an open AHO!

Norway is open again after 18 months of lockdown, and we can finally welcome everyone back to an open AHO! How will you notice this as a student or staff:

For students:
  • The campus is again open 24/7 the whole week.
  • No restrictions on the number of students in the studios and the one-meter rule is gone. However, the furnishings will remain until the end of the semester.
  • The workshops are open to all students again without booking.
  • The reading seats in the library can be uses as you wish.
  • The canteen will open for a more normal serving, and the number of seats in the canteen will increase.
  • You no longer have to use AHO Check-in.
  • Some courses will still offer some digital lectures.

For staff:
  • The time with the required home office for many employees is over, and we hope to see you all back in the hallways at AHO. The administration still has the opportunity to work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, but it is important for the community and the work environment that we can finally be physically present, and we hope that the vast majority will work as much as possible from AHO's premises.
  • There are no longer any restrictions on the number of participants in our meeting rooms, and you no longer have to use AHO Check-in.
  • The school is maintaining restrictions on arranged study trips abroad this semester.
  • Each individual must keep up to date on the general travel advice from the authorities.

A little reminder to everyone:
  • The school still has available self-tests that are handed out from the reception as long as it is in stock.
  • Unfortunately, the pandemic is not over yet. In the future, we must take more responsibility for testing and reporting infections as the municipalities' infection tracking will be reduced. It is therefore important that you stay up to date on the authorities' pages about measures that will apply in the future.
  • Remember to stay home if you are sick, wash your hands and take a self-test if you suspect corona infection.
