Updated corona measures at AHO

Updated corona measures at AHO

The government has announced stricter Covid measures following increased coronavirus infections. Read the government updated list of measures here. The new measures apply from Wednesday 15 December and the next four weeks.

What does this mean for us at AHO:

Digital semester start
In January, we will carry out all teaching and supervision digitally. We plan to have a studio plan ready by February where everyone will have a seat on campus with some restrictions.
There will be no travel in the spring semester.
Information on how the courses are to be carried out at the start of the semester will be sent to the students via Moodle or directly from the teacher.

Diploma exhibition
We carry out the diploma exhibition, but it will only be open internally for students and staff at AHO. The diploma students will receive a separate email about the implementation of the setup of the exhibition.

Workshops
The workshop will be closed in January, but we are conducting the workshop course for the new international students.

Library
The library will be open in January, but there will be fewer reading seats and a digital counter.

Canteen
The canteen will be closed for the rest of December and in January.

Home office
From Wednesday 15 December, employees at AHO will primarily work from home if this is practically possible. The exceptions are employees who have work tasks that must be taken care of at AHO. This assessment must be done together with your manager.

New quarantine rules
The government has introduced new rules for quarantine and isolation. It is a good idea to get to know them. You can read them here.

Self-tests
The school has now received self-tests that are available to students. It is possible to retrieve one self-test at a time.

We wish everyone a merry, healthy, Christmas!

Best regards,
AHOs emergency response team
