Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application.
Language
Language of instruction: English
Applicants to the English programmes are not required to submit a TOEFL/IELTS test. However, in the nomination letter AHO should assure the host institution that your English level is sufficient.

What does it cost?
As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee
Accommodation
Aalto University has an agreement with HOAS for providing a number of furnished rooms for incoming exchange students. Unfortunately, Aalto University cannot guarantee housing for all the exchange students since the quota is limited. Exchange students can apply for housing through the Aalto´s Student Union, AYY.

How to apply?
Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here.
If you are nominated for exchange, AHO will send an official nomination to Aalto. Afterwards, Aalto University will email you the application instructions and the link to the online application form, which you must fill out and submit before the application deadline.

Application period to Aalto University takes place twice a year:
In the spring term, for the upcoming academic year or the autumn term: 15 March – 15 April
In the autumn term, for the following spring term: 15 September – 15 October
Please note that applications that arrive late or are incomplete after the deadlines will be rejected.
