Language of instruction: English
Applicants to the English programmes are not required to submit a TOEFL/IELTS test. However, they are expected to be proficient in English. It is possible for non-Danish-speaking students to study Danish programmes; guidance can be given in English. However, please be aware that the instruction is in Danish.

What does it cost?

As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee

Who can apply?

Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application.

Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here

After you have been nominated by your home institution for an exchange at the Royal Danish Academy you will receive an automated email from the Academy`s application system.

The titles and content of the courses for each semester are set by the programmes and they change from year to year.

What is the duration of each semester?

Autumn semester: 1 September – 31 January
Spring semester: 1 February – 30 June

Accommodation

Students must find a room or apartment themselves. Finding a place to stay can be a challenge. Therefore, we recommend starting your search well before the start of the semester.
