AHO Architecture Lecture Series - Sebastiano Brandolini on Alberto Ponis: Inhabiting an island

We start the autumn series with inviting Sebastiano Brandolini to have a talk on the work of Alberto Ponis. As a kind of self-imposed exile, Alberto Ponis has concentrated the major parts of his work to Sardinia. He started his architectural journey in postwar Italy and has concentrated his efforts on realising buildings.

Sebastiano Brandolini published The Inhabited Pathway: The Built Work of Alberto Ponis in Sardinia in 2015. He graduated in 1982 from the Architectural Association in London. He worked for many years as the editor of the Italian monthly magazine "Casabella" (1984-1996). He has taught architectural design at the Universities of Milan, Venice, Genoa, Ferrara.

AHO Architecture Lectures Series is an independent student initiative.
With this, we wish to contribute to the continuous contemporary architectural discourse in Norway.
