The AHO Open lecture series presents: Lise Amy Hansen + Even Smith Wergeland

Join us in celebrating our 75th anniversary – explore our rich history, reflect on our impact today and speculate with us about future opportunities. We are opening up and inviting in to a series of physical and digital events this autumn 2020 and spring 2021. We invite you to engage with us through a series of guest lectures this autumn.

To follow the government Corona guidelines, the lectures this semester will be digital.
The AHO Open lecture series:

Even Smith Wergeland + Lise Amy Hansen

Circular Heritage
In recent years there has been a growing interest in designing for the circular economy. This lecture presents some of the key principles behind this mode of thinking and explores its influence within the field of preservation. Two questions are at stake: To which degree does circular heritage bring something radically new? What happens to the cultural dimension when nature protection becomes the number one priority?

Materialising Movement
The lecture presents ongoing research on digital movement at the Design Institute and will discuss some key concerns on how movement is materialised for interaction design. Materialising movement may be seen as a political, ethical and artistic practice and the lecture discuss these - inviting you to look at movement anew.
