For the past few years there has been discussion in the city of Drammen about how to strengthen the connections between the two sides of the city. My project is to design a new soft network across the valley for the city of Drammen, taking a route in the city centre and designing it in detail, linking the green spaces and manors on both sides of the river by using boulevards, creating a new bridge over Drammenselva to connect the two sides of the river and transforming the linked Bikkjestykket Park, Losjeplassen avenue and Engene Park .The purpose of the project is to connect the cities on both sides of the river by means of boulevards, to enhance the functional and traffic connections between the two sides and to address urban flooding through the transformation of existing green spaces, bringing a soft network of greenery across the valley to the city.

The boulevard is the vehicle that connects the north and south sides of the city with the green spaces and manors, and is the green corridor that people use most often on a daily basis. By installing rain gardens within the boulevard, the green area is increased and the problem of waterlogging caused by the difference in surface height is solved. The boulevard is a combination of transport, recreation and ecology, providing an excellent ecological space for interaction and communication between city dwellers.

Bikkjestykket Park is located in the cultural district of the city centre on the southern shore of the city, next to the cultural heritage Austad manor. It was originally a sloping woodland with heavy waterlogging. The park has been transformed into a water park by diverting water through canals and dredging a lake to store water, with dense boulevards leading to the manor and the lake. A good waterfront experience and ecological space under the trees is provided for the city centre.

The Drammen Brdige is a new bridge over the Drammenselva in the project. The bridge meets the river bank on the north side and is raised on the south side, with trains passing under it. The southern side of the bridge is divided into three parts: a large terrace, a long pedestrian walkway and a lift connecting the ground level square. The bridge is covered with trees in tree pot. This makes the bridge a green corridor across the river. The whole bridge combines transport and green space, strengthens the connection between the two banks, divides the water into more interesting spaces and provides a highly interactive leisure plaza space and a green ecological space on the water for the urban riverfront.

Engene Park is a classical cross-shaped lawn garden in a residential area of the city's North Shore. The garden has been transformed into a terrace garden with a high north and low south height by taking advantage of the 7m difference in height between north and south. A central terrace with lawns, small gardens, maze gardens and a gazebo reinforce the classical nature of the garden. The garden echoes the urban heritage estate on the other side of the river, providing a highly interactive green ecological space for the surrounding residents and small, intimate spaces with interesting interaction.
