Diplomprosjekt

Institutt for arkitektur
Far from the thoughts and things of home... simply there and open. Water, as it crashes down rock. Darkness. A depth, there, with which you are one.
I wondered what it would mean if the human could become less subject-like, and the physical less object-like. What would be left? How could it be done? And what consequences would this have for the human’s relation to their surroundings?
My program is an investigation into both anti-object and anti-subject, an attempt to find a potential within this, and to use it in an architectural project.
The term anti-object is one made by Kengo Kuma, the term anti-subject is of my own making, having been inspired by Kisho Kurozawa’s Rikyu Grey.
