Marie Coirié
Marie Coirié is a visionary designer who pioneers cultural transformation in hospitals by promoting the practice of Care by Design in France. She is the Lab-ah co-founder at GHU Paris Psychiatrie & Neurosciences which she launched with Carine Delanoë-Vieux in 2016. Together they empower patients and professionals through operational projects, co-creation workshops and research experiments. Marie previously worked as an independent designer for the public sector, collaborating and leading multidisciplinary teams. She is passionate about exploring the potential of collaborative design projects for care and well-being and has authored more than fifteen articles in professional journals and design or innovation-related books. Actively involved in design education, she's a frequent Master's thesis tutor, jury president and workshop leader.
Dr. Pardis Shafafi
Dr. Pardis Shafafi is a British Iranian anthropologist and Strategic Design Lead at Designit’s Oslo studio. She has over 15 years of cross-sectoral experience, ranging from scrubbing into clinical care and managing humanitarian programs in active war zones, to guiding diverse clients through complex design processes and better futures. Pardis continues to be active with think tanks and journals, advising on the European Union Off-Site project and teaching and supervising design students on Do No Harm and Political Anthropology. As a public facing academic, she is a regular contributor to media and has been active with international outlets like Al Jazeera and the BBC.
Bård Eker
Bård Eker is a Norwegian born and – based Industrial Designer, Entrepreneur and Innovator. He is an Industrial Designer by profession with education in Industrial Design, Engineering and Architecture from Pratt Institute in New York and Statens Håndverks- og Kunstindustriskole in Oslo.
Eker has left his mark on development and innovation at a number of leading Norwegian and International companies. He is an owner of several high technology companies and is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a proven history of working in the design and development industry. Eker serves today on multiple boards as Chairman of the Board and Board Member.
