Alena Beth Rieger

Alena Beth Rieger is a PhD fellow at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. Her research focuses on 20th-century building demolitions and is part of the OCCAS project Provenance Projected: Architecture Past and Future in the Era of Circularity. She is a co-founder of the publishing network Good in Theory

Rieger holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Architecture from AHO. Her master's thesis, Land Sea Land, focused on the historical material trade between Southern Norway and Northern Denmark and was published by the Canadian Center for Architecture as part of the Figuring Territory collection. Rieger has professional experience working with exhibitions, publications, architecture, and teaching.
