Mara Trübenbach is a ph.d. fellow at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, working on the intersection of design methods, material and performance in architecture. Her ph.d. is part of the EU Horizon 2020 international network TACK / Communities of Tacit Knowledge: Architecture and its Ways of Knowing: https://tacit-knowledge-architecture.com. She graduated from the Bauhaus-University Weimar with an MSc in Architecture in 2018 with the MA-thesis Nets Stretched into the Unknown. Bauhaus Women in British Exile, after having studied at the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Dusseldorf and at the Technical University Vienna. Mara has a cross-disciplinary professional horizon from working with interior design to landscape architecture in several offices across Europe. Her research includes work on provenance and migration movement in architecture. In the summer of 2019 she was selected for the Bauhaus Lab program at the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, Dessau, DEU, which resulted in the collectively curated exhibition Handle with Care.
