Sverre Bjerkeset is guest researcher at the Institute of Urbanism and Landscape, AHO. He is educated as a social anthropologist from the University of Oslo and holds a master's degree and a PhD in urbanism from AHO. His main research interests revolve around the ethnography of public space and urban public life. Bjerkeset has conducted long-term ethnographic fieldwork in Norway and Argentina.
