New professor in landscape architecture

We are proud to announce that Karin Helms is professor in landscape architecture at AHO. Karin Helms will be teaching at AHO’s International Master of Landscape Architecture and will contribute to the research and its development at AHO’s Institute of Urbanism and Landscape.
Professor Karin Helms is a highly experienced academic of landscape architecture. She has combined her academic career with engagements in practice and in the policy of landscape architecture as well as in the development of international collaborations and organisation. In 2019, she gained her PhD by practice at the RMIT School of Architecture and Design. Karin Helms has worked as associate professor at the ENSP Versailles where she has also been Head of the Design Department and Deputy Dean of International Affairs. The collaborative European master programme EMiLA of five leading schools/universities in Europe, is also her doing. Karin Helms has received several awards for her academic contributions.
