Language of instruction: English
Exchange students must provide documentation of their English proficiency. The required level is B2. The confirmation of your English proficiency may be issued by your home institution if they have sufficient knowledge about your language level.
Although most of the study programmes are officially in Estonian, exchange students are offered courses, where the teachers can guide in English.

Which courses can I take?

The titles and content of the courses for each semester may change from year to year.

What is the duration of each semester?

Autumn semester: end of August – end of January
Spring semester: end of January – end of June
First semester exchange students are expected to arrive for the last week of August, exams are finished by December 21. January workshops are optional. Second semester starts end of January and exams are finished by the end of May.

What does it cost? 

As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee. 

Who can apply? 

Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application.

How to apply?

Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here

If you are nominated for exchange, submit your application to the partner institution.
