Language of instruction: English
Exchange students must provide documentation of their English proficiency. The required level is B2.
Although most of the study programmes are officially in Estonian, exchange students are offered courses where the teachers can guide in English.

Which courses can I take?

The titles and content of the courses for each semester are set by the specialties and they may change from year to year.

What is the duration of the semester?

Autumn semester: end of August – end of January
Spring semester: end of January – end of June

Before the semester begins, the International Office organizes a first meeting for all exchange students. You should arrive a few days before the beginning of the semester.

The Academy provides student housing.

What does it cost? 

As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee. 
 

Who can apply? 

Design students who are in their 6th or 7th semester at the time of application.
 

How to apply?

Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here

If you are nominated for exchange, submit your application to the partner institution.
Read about the application documentation required.

October 15th for the spring semester
