What is the duration of the semester? 

Winter Semester:  from the 1st of October until the 31st of March.
Summer Semester: from the 1st of April until the 30th of September.

Accommodation

The International Office of the HCU has a limited number of rooms in student dormitories of Studierendenwerk Hamburg.  
In addition, it is possible for all international students to contact private student residence halls directly. Please note that it may be difficult to find an adequate and affordable apartment in Hamburg in time for the beginning of the semester. We highly recommend to start to search for an apartment even before receiving your letter of acceptance from the HCU.

What does it cost?

As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee

Who can apply?

Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application.

How to apply?

Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here
If you are nominated by AHO, HCU will send an e-mail containing all necessary information and application documents to you.
