What courses can I take?

Exchange students within architecture have a set study plan. As an exchange student at the KTH School of Architecture you will follow a predetermined course package of 30 ECTS credits per semester. 
The titles and content of the courses for each semester may change from year to year.

For how long does the semester last?

Autumn term: end of August – middle of January
Spring term: middle of January– beginning of June

Accommodation

KTH Accommodation is a service to international students, assisting them in finding accommodation for their first academic year at KTH. Some international student groups are guaranteed housing through KTH while others need to find housing on their own.

What does it cost? 

As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee. 

Who can apply? 

Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application.

How to apply?

Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here
If you are nominated for exchange, submit your online application to KTH. The form also includes an application for Swedish language courses at KTH and accommodation.

15 April - for studies in the autumn semester and full academic year. Application opens mid-March
15 October - for studies in the spring semester. Application opens mid-September
