All modules at UCD are taught in English – incoming students are advised to have a minimum level of B1 (CEFR). Erasmus students are not required to provide proof of English language proficiency as part of their application.

Please note that the above link shows all courses that are taught at UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy. There are some restrictions regarding which modules you can take, depending on the agreement with your home university. Information about this will be sent to you before you register for courses.

1st semester: from end of September to end of December 
2nd Semester:  from end of January to end of May

Accommodation

UCD has beautiful on-campus accommodation, consisting of a single bedroom with options of both private and shared bathrooms. UCD can not guarantee accommodation to all international students as places are limited. If you haven’t been allocated a room at UCD's on-campus residences, or if you would rather live off-campus, you can contact UCD Residences Off-Campus Accommodation, UCD Students’ Union Accommodation Services or residences@ucd.ie, or explore the UCD Accommodation Pad which contains a listing of available accommodation around UCD and provides general advice.

What does it cost? 

As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee. 

Who can apply? 

Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application.

How to apply?

Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here

If you are nominated, you must submit an online application to UCD. Instructions will be sent to you by UCD. Make sure to follow the application instructions very carefully.
