Adapted studies

Do you have a disability, special needs, or illness that makes it difficult to study? You may apply for individual adaptation of your studies or exams. Here you can find information about how to apply.

Who can apply?

Individual adaptations must compensate for the disadvantages caused by your disability. You can apply for individual adaptations that do not reduce the academic requirements in your education.

Examples of what can provide a basis for individual adaptation:
  • Dyslexia
  • Impaired functioning
  • Mental challenges
  • Psychosocial difficulties
  • Visual impairment
  • Reduced hearing

How to apply

To apply for adaptations, send in an application via Nettskjema. Feel free to send an inquiry to infosenter@aho.no to book a conversation with your study adviser about possible adaptation measures before sending in the form.
