Excursions

The course coordinator shall appoint an academic contact person for the excursion. The contact person is responsible for the excursion and is the point of contact for students and study administration. Students must be informed about the designated contact person.
 

The contact person must:

• fill out the List of participants and upload it to the form in the link below
• fill out the form for information about excursion well in advance of departure
• remind the students to fill out the declaration form
• inform the students that a valid travel insurance is required
• be available on their phone during the whole stay
• register AHO’s emergency number on their phone. See AHO’s contingency plan

When traveling abroad, the contact person must:

• be familiar with the nearest Norwegian embassy/consulate
• register the local emergency number on their phone. Please download the app “Nødnummer” for easy access to local emergency numbers
• encourage all participants to register at The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ travel form
• inform all participants about recommended vaccines for the area well in advance. The Norwegian Institute of Public health has updated information
