Helping teenagers manage stress and anxiety through interactive mindfulness-meditation.
“Wandering Mind” is a service that aims to help teenagers develop coping strategies for stress and anxiety through interactive mindfulness-meditation.
The aim is to make the process of handling stressful and anxious situations more 'manageable' .
The “Wandering Mind” program consists of Miin, a digital touchpoint for adolescents that encourages emotional self regulation and body breathing techniques, an introduction guide and an example of psychoeducational tool for therapists.
Miin, the core offering, is a personal companion that helps adolescents wherever and whenever. It is designed to support teenagers outside of therapy and in an everyday context, and as a supplement to the treatment provided at specialised clinics.
This program was designed to be a potential addition to therapy treatment and was developed in consultation with Charlotte Lunde MD at Nic Waals Institutt.
