This project explores how architecture can contribute to active aging and serve as a hub for the community and neighbourhood.

As the elderly population continues to grow, and people live longer, many face challenges of loneliness in their later years, which can impact both their mental and physical health. To prevent and address this issue, it is essential to live an active life, not only physically but also socially and mentally. Through this project, I have investigated how this can be achieved through three interventions: housing for single seniors, an activity centre, and a neighbourhood building. Active aging is relevant not only to the elderly but to individuals of all ages, from children to the elderly, it is something that must be worked on throughout life. Therefore, the project is not solely directed towards the elderly but towards everyone residing in the area.
