Matthew Dalziel is an architect and principal of
Atelier Dalziel. He is a PhD by practice fellow in the Institute of Architecture where his research uses methods of praxis (theory in practice) to explore the intersectional quandaries of architectural craft, tectonic culture, and environmental crisis.
Before founding Atelier Dalziel in Oslo, Matthew studied, practiced, and taught architecture in London, UK.
He has taught graduate design studios at the Kingston School of Art, The London School of Architecture, and the Oslo School of Architecture. In 2019 he was a chief curator of the Oslo Architecture Triennale titled
Enough: The Architecture of Degrowth.
