All applicants who have not obtained a previous diploma in a programme taught in English in Australia, English-speaking Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States of America must submit a certificate proving their proficiency in English.

The English proficiency test scores accepted by KU Leuven are the TOEFL certificate, IELTS certificate, and Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) or C2 Proficiency (CPE) certificate.

What courses can I take?

The titles and content of the courses for each semester may change from year to year. There are exchange opportunities in campus Sint-Lucas Brussels as well as in campus Sint-Lucas Ghent. Students are encouraged to choose a location on basis of the content of the programs and their engagements.
Campus Brussels focuses on urban projects and urban cultures, while
Campus Ghent focuses on resilient and sustainable strategies

Winter semester: end of September – beginning of February

Accommodation

The faculty does not have student accommodation. Therefore, you will have to rent a room on the private housing market for the duration of your stay. To help you in your search, it is best to contact the department of Student Services. The staff will put you in touch with trustworthy organizations on the private housing market.

What does it cost?

As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semeser fee. 

Who can apply? 

Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application.

How to apply? 

Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here
