Language of instruction: Catalan or Spanish (some courses are taught in English)
ETSAB strongly recommends having at least a B1 level of Spanish before arrival. Incoming students are not required to submit a proof of Spanish or Catalan language skills, however partner universities are advised to take that into consideration when nominating students.

What courses can I take?
Exchange places are mainly offered to Architecture students for a full academic year stay, from mid September to the end of June. Landscape Architecture students may come for just one semester.
The titles and content of the courses for each semester may change from year to year.

What is the duration of the semester?

First semester (Q1, autumn-winter semester): first week of September - approx. 22nd December
Second semester(Q2, spring-summer semester): first week of February - end of June (in July: results and transcripts of records)

Accommodation
Universities in Barcelona have an agreement with Resa Housing, an accommodation service for students, researchers, and university professors that need a place to stay for academic purposes.
Students can contact Resa Housing via Internet or e-mail in order to determine the most suitable type of accommodation available (shared flat, rented apartment or university halls of residence), well in advance of their moving to Barcelona.

What does it cost? 
As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee. 

Who can apply? 
Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application. Please note that ETSAB does not admit new exchange students for the spring semester.

How to apply?
Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here.

If you are nominated, you must submit an online application to ETSAB.
