Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester the semester at the time of application.

Language

Language of instruction: English

From non-native English speakers: Certificate of English Language Competence (mandatory), at least level B2 English. Certificate can be provided by the home university. No TOEFL/IELTS is needed from exchange students.

The titles and content of the courses for each semester may change from year to year.

What is the duration of each semester?

Autumn semester: September to December
Spring semester: January to May

What does it cost?

As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee

Accommodation

Incoming international students have several options in terms of how to arrange housing, either through the local student housing foundation PSOAS or through private markets.
Student housing during Autumn term is always more full than during Spring.

How to apply?

Apply for exchange studies through AHO by 1 February / 15 September through the application form found here.

If you are nominated for exchange, University of Oulu will send you application instructions and login details to an on-line application in SoleMOVE through e-mail. All incoming exchange students must submit their exchange application through SoleMOVE by the deadline.
