The National Gallery is brimming with people of knowledge who educate and inspire visitors. Outside the museum, little has been done to engage those who forget it as a place to go. Classic museums must find new ways to entice future visitors in a world filled with fast entertainment.

Today, 80 million people are displaced and yet 28,300 people a day are forced to flee their home due to conflict and persecution.
This project is focusing on the context of Transition, such as asylum reception centers where it is important for refugees and asylum seekers to consider integration measures.

Our project explores the human and cultural aspect of digital security in Norwegian workplaces, and how interactive learning can support employees in making good risk assessments. Through simulated scenarios our aim is to give employees an engaging learning experience that explains how trust can be exploited in digital space. The goal is to enhance the users ability to identify risk and encourage them to do the necessary security measures.

In 2020 a new curriculum with more focus on interdisciplinary teaching will be established in Norwegian primaryeducation. Working across subjects means more collaboration between teachers. Today, this is often complex andtime consuming.

With Samspill, teachers can set up project plans together in an organized and visual way in order to createengaging learning experiences for students. Our design proposal exemplifies interdisciplinary collaboration in ableto trigger more openness towards the renewal.

This project explores how to support lecturers in creating awareness and reflection on youth’s social media use, through a set of interactive learning tools used in classrooms. The aim is to establish cultural awakening and motivate for conscious use.

Three design interventions were developed:
-An interactive card game designed to engage self-reflection on common behaviors, feelings and attitudes towards their social media use.
-A lecture that visually explains how and why we get hooked on social media, and how it affects us in a larger scale.

In 2016 it was almost hit by a record landslide that passed just 10 meters away. The local church has also announced that the cemetery must be relocated.

This project comes as an alternative solution providing those whom have already passed away the right to rest in peace. My proposal suggests embracing this vulnerable site with rocky landforms that will guide the devastating natural forces away. Newly integrated columbarium niches provide a room where one can “be allowed” to die in Svalbard.

The project takes Sassen-Bünsow Land National Park, in Svalbard as the site for the intervention. The aim for the design is to tell a story of how we leave footprints behind when moving through the landscape. An important concept is the idea that tourism, if not properly planned and regulated, can degrade and spoil the environment and damage valued cultural resources. The intention of the design is to protect the fauna, flora and historical traces of the area.

The core of the design is an action initiated by people and afterwards left to the biotic and abiotic forces to lead and develop the design themselves. The method used to reach the visual result is ecological succession, which is the process of change in the structure of community of species over time. Both the process and the final appearance are important parts of the project. With the knowledge of plant behaviour, it is possible to create a low-cost project that highlights spatial qualities of industrial heritage as well as revealing the ability of creation of living matter.
