«Hun sa at det var en depresjon, men at det kan også være det er en sorg. Jeg hadde jo tapt et svangerskap og en barseltid som skulle ha vært veldig fin. Blir du frarøvet det så kan en sitte igjen med en sorgfølelse for noe du ikke fikk.»

Space for Flow is an interaction and service design project focused on helping individuals foster a space for team flow to address the lack of meaning resulting in unengaging work lives (Cranston & Keller, 2013.)(Gallup, 2018).

I unveiled and simplified the knowledge of flow and highlighted foundational insights used in the design phase. The deliverable is an actionable framework for team flow.It consists of several workshops and tasks to help individuals define their path and for teams to unveil their differences, stand up for their values, and create a space for flow.

With my diploma project I want us to rethink some of our deeply ingrained stories. How and what are we measuring in our pupils? What are we not measuring? Where are we are headed based on our current system goals and structures? And what types of new educational narratives can help equip our children for the challenges of the future?

Through a research by design approach, this Industrial Design diploma explores the concept of aesthetics as a subjective and emotional experience, created by our perception. At the heart of the project is an experiment, based on the hypothesis of that: “A products aesthetic impression affect how we judge its quality and/or functionality”

One of the soulutions to these challenges is very likely to be further digitalization of public services and the Norwegian Government is interested in taking advantage of the promising capabilities of Artificial Intelligence.

However, many may face new challenges when the services are digitalized, and demanding life circumstances often makes digital self service solutions difficult to complete.
