The aim of this project is to make fishing from small fishing vessels in Norway more safe. Fishing is the most dangerous profession in Norway by mortality rate, and 2 out of 3 deathly accidents happen from small fishing vessels. Man Overboard accidents are among the most dangerous, having a fatal outcome 65% of the time.

Foldin is a modular sneaker, with three main components. The upper sock, the shock absorbent sole, and the outer sole which hold everything together with laces and also provide grip. By making the sneaker modular, the user can replace the worn-out part and avoid throwing the whole shoe. Since it consists of loose components, the different parts could easily be sorted and recycled.

Drømmer om en ny normal er et utforskende diplomprosjekt om fremtid, med konkret fokus på klesbransjen og vårt forhold til klær. Utgangspunktet for oppgaven var min frustrasjon over å vite at vår livsstil bidrar negativt i klimakrisen: Vi blir fortalt at radikal endring trengs raskt, men ikke hvorfra endringen skal komme, eller hva den innebærer for livene våre.

Almost 20% of the Norwegian population consists of immigrants or children of immigrants. In the coming years, this number is only going to grow bigger. Those already here, and those coming in the future will have to make use of public services at some point or another. As the Norwegian system is built on Norwegian norms, assumptions, and expectations, for people coming to Norway with a different background, navigating through the system can pose a challenge.

Many travel on the premiss that they are going to save someone, with different levels of the white saviour complex. This mentality is dangerous because it takes the power away from communities to resolve the situation in a way they deem appropriate. I 2015 startet hele landet å ta i bruk et lukket Nødnett som ga nødetater og presse en annen arbeidshverdag. I etterkant av dette skulle nødetatene kommunisere med presse og offentligheten gjennom Twitter platformen. Men hvordan fungerer dette i praksis? Fra feltarbeid hos operasjonssentral i Oslo og 110-sentralen Vest i Bergen fikk jeg et innblikk i deres arbeidshverdag.
